Shown here in a white-cube gallery setting, "Unspoken" is built to hold a wall on its own — the kind of piece a collector places where nothing competes with it. Its warm gold and deep teal palette runs richer in person than in any photograph, and the scale reads as easily in a private collection as it would in a gallery show.
Half her face dissolves into color and motion; the other half is cut off by a single decisive black stroke, direct and unresolved. It's a portrait about what doesn't get said — the parts of a person left out of frame even while they're looking right at you. Loose, expressive brushwork and dripped paint keep the piece feeling immediate rather than composed, like it was caught mid-thought.
